Video Premiere : Magic Bus ‘Easy Om’

‘Easy Om’ is the latest release from MAGIC BUS exclusively premiered by Shindig!. ‘Easy OM is the first single taken from MAGIC BUS’ latest album The Earth Years, which is set for release on June 19th.

Psychedelic explorers MAGIC BUS announce their new album The Earth Years with the release of ‘Easy Om’.
The Totnes, Devon-based band have been weaving together their own cosmic tapestry for 10 years, divining sources as diverse as the Canterbury scene, California jam bands, eastern mysticism, and 70’s prog. “MAGIC BUS always thrill in their own ingenuity, song craft and upbeat cosmic vibes. An album like this is really needed and they have indeed truly delivered.” said our own Jon “Mojo” Mills of the album.

MAGIC BUS FROM THE EARTH

The Earth Years was recorded in Vale studios in Worcestershire over 9 days in May 19 and was mastered by Sean Magee at Abbey Road.  For MAGIC BUS making music “is a privilege and a joy. The beauty of music is its ability to turn a room full of strangers into a tribe of brothers and sisters.” In the modern age, festivals are the closest expression to this Utopian vision and the band has always loved this environment. The music is full of hope, unexpected time tunnels and sun-drenched harmonies. Lyrically the band pursue themes of spiritual quests, the search for Utopia and space-age exploration.

MAGIC BUS ON THE EARTH

Last year was a giant step up for the band. Touring Europe with the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, playing legendary venues like Paradiso in Amsterdam, Columbia Theatre in Berlin and Fabric in Hamburg. Last year also saw their first appearance at the ubiquitous Glastonbury Festival, Beautiful days and Green Gathering.

Earth Years will be released on LP/CD/DL and digital music platforms on June 19th 2020.
