Radiophonic Tuckshop ‘Running Commentary’

RADIOPHONIC TUCKSHOP’s ‘Running Commentary’ is a blistering study of the powerpop song, harmonic and addictive, the tracks are rooted in early ’70s riffs and sonics. Think Sunflower by Beach Boys performed by an Everbody’s In Showbiz era Kinks

Having cut his creative teeth as one half of the much adored Dr Cosmos Tape Lab, Joe Kane spent a great deal of 2016, recording, producing and touring with Ette along with Carla Easton (Teen Canteen). 2017 has seen him write, record and produce with BMX Bandits and now he is ready to unleash his latest project – Radiophonic Tuckshop. What began as a solo project soon transformed into a full band experience with the addition of seasoned local musicians – Paul Kelly (The Martial Arts), Ian Cronan (Mother and the Addicts), Allan McGarry (The Fast Camels) and Craig McGown (Them Beatles).
